PS HW #1
I feel like the selection tool will be the easiest to work with because it is somewhat similar to the pen tool in Illustrator, which I became pretty efficient at using. I think I am most interested in figuring out how to alter the lighting of an image (shadow, highlights, etc.) because that seems really difficult but also an essential tool to creating believable photo edits.
I have heard a lot about Photoshop's AI features so I decided to watch a tutorial on it. I am very impressed with how advanced the AI is on Photoshop and I am interested to think of ways to use it in the future. I am, of course, concerned about AI tricking people into believing things that are not true, but for now it is just a fun feature.
This video gave a really good overview of a variety of topics in a short amount of time. I feel confident to begin using Photoshop, although I still have much to learn. One thing that struck me was the amount of keyboard shortcuts the person in the video uses, and that is definitely something I want to learn so I have a good workflow.
